Hi! I'm Edee. I was born and raised amidst the tranquil landscapes of rural Georgia, USA. In 2010, my journey led me across continents to the capital city of Oslo, Norway, where I now call home.
My career has taken a few zigzags since transplanting to Oslo. Starting from waitressing gigs in my early days, I later ventured into freelancing, seeking to expand my horizons. Today, I've found my stride in the dynamic realm of communications, where I thrive on building connections and crafting compelling narratives. Currently, I am laboring over four novels, scribbling away each day, with one inching further to being submission-ready. Recently, this manuscript was accepted toThe Novelry's Ultimate Manuscript Assessment.
Outside of work, I’m happiest when surrounded by art in some form; a good book, a story I’m writing, or live music that makes everything else fade out for a while. I have a soft spot for vintage fashion and old films, both of which stir a kind of nostalgia I can never quite shake. I’m also at my best outdoors, whether hiking a familiar trail or planning the next small adventure. And when I’m home, the kitchen becomes my creative space: a place for both comfort and invention, from slow-cooked meals to whatever dessert I’ve decided is worth the mess.
My wanderlust has carried me to most corners of the globe, with each destination leaving a mark on my free spirit. These days, I reside in the charming bohemian neighborhood of St. Hanshaugen, Oslo, with my husband and our one-year-old son. Here, amidst the brown cheese, cross country skiing, and concept of "koselig," I find myself at the crossroads of two worlds. I cherish the richness of my Southern roots while embracing my established life in the land of the Vikings.
